Privacy Notice for Parents

Who we are

Little Worlds Games creates personalised games for families. Our business address, privacy contact email and ICO registration status have not yet been supplied.

What you share with us

For an enquiry, we collect your name and email, and a phone number only if you choose to give one. We also save the package, world, character and extras you select, the price shown, your device choice and any optional occasion or requested delivery date.

To personalise an adventure, we ask for your child's first name or nickname and age band, the hero's name and look, outfit colour, animal companion and its name. Interests and a short dedication are optional. You may include family or friend first names or nicknames in the dedication only if you have permission.

Please do not share a child's surname, photograph, school, exact birthday or address. A requested delivery date is not a date of birth. For bespoke requests, we also keep the idea and preferences you send us.

This website does not take payments or collect card details. Payment-provider arrangements and any payment-confirmation records will be explained before purchases are enabled.

Why we use these details

We use enquiry details to reply, agree your brief and, if you commission a game, personalise, deliver and support it. We do not use your enquiry for advertising, profiling or selling personal data.

An optional world name is stored with your enquiry. If you choose Family & Friends, we also store up to four first names or nicknames and whether each is family, a friend or a pet. Please have permission to share another person's name; never include surnames or other identifying details.

Steps you request before a purchase and fulfilling a contract can provide a lawful basis for necessary parent contact and order details. The appropriate lawful basis for child and optional third-party details still needs a documented assessment before sales begin. Reading this notice is not consent to advertising or a waiver of privacy rights.

Where your details go

Enquiries are stored on our hosted website service, Lovable Cloud, so the Little Worlds team can review them. They are not publicly listed. Hosting locations, service-provider terms, any international transfers and backup arrangements must be confirmed in the final notice.

The delivered game's handling of progress, builds, scores, narrator voice and two-player rooms is still being checked. We are not yet promising that everything stays on the device, that rooms expire after two hours, or that a narrator setting prevents names being sent to a voice service.

Before delivery, we will need to explain which game services receive personal details, how any parent controls work and what deleting device data does and does not remove.

How long we keep it

A retention period has not yet been approved, and no timed deletion process is currently in place. The final notice must set separate, justified periods for enquiries, child personalisation, support and any records required by law. We will not describe a proposed period as an existing deletion guarantee.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion, or ask about restricting or objecting to its use. Some rights depend on the circumstances, and information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations. Requests are normally answered within one month; a lawful extension may apply to complex requests.

If we have already emailed you, reply to that message to make a privacy request. A public contact email must be added before launch. Deleting information from a device does not necessarily delete order records or copies held by service providers.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use enquiry details for advertising. The website, hosting diagnostics and delivered game still need a full cookie and tracking check before we can make a blanket “no third-party tracking” promise.
